If you think Mother Nature is the principal cause of worry for the Maldivians, then the news is actually a lot worse for them from another angle.

With India their chief patron in almost all aspects of life, being the giant neighbour next door, the new Islamist Maldives Govt has completely unprovocatively picked up a fight with India.

Imagine fighting with the supplier of your top income (max tourists come from India), supplier of fresh water, supply of daily staples like potatoes, tomatoes, etc. emergency hospitals/surgeries, and thelist goes on.

Before Mother Nature can wreck havoc on this vulnerable atoll, it seems the Govtbis hell bent on getting there first!
