US has the luxury of printing the USD to manage its debt, which is in USD.

The U.S. is in serious debt. Their national debt is currently at around $35 trillion or $100k per American.

US has the luxury of printing the USD to manage its debt, which is in USD. So debt may not be the real issue, rather the main issue would be the inflation that follows from excessive dollar printing.
