Sure India is buying oil from Russia. But so is Serbia, Hungary, even Saudi Arabia (yes!) and now even Japan!

And the most shocking is UKRAINE is buying Russian diesel via 3rd party!!!

What this war has shown is each country looks after its self-interest. Even after more than one year, both EU and UK are still on Russian gas (if not oil), so one wonders if all the sermonising that goes on has any basis? Yes Nordstream is no longer in business and nor is the Polish route, but statista.com shows both EU and UK purchased gas via Ukrainian gas pipeline (wow!) and Turkstream with each supplying 250-260 million cu m per week in 1st week of last month, Mar 2023

So cash flows are still robust
